Don’t expect to hear the pitter patter of raindrops hitting the roof because there is sound abatement between the two floors making it incredibly quiet.
Stairwell
Bridging the upstairs is a naturally lit open stairwell.
Guest Bedroom
Every bedroom has French double doors (with adjacent windows on both sides) which open onto their own private balcony or patio. This not only ties the indoors with the outdoors, but offers plenty of natural light to reduce your need for electricity during the day.
Full Bathroom
Immediately outside the guest bedroom is a full bathroom allowing privacy for visitors.
Office
Here’s another ‘flexible’ room. It’s currently an office, but also could be the 4th bedroom.
Family
At the foot of the stairs is the spacious family room. It has a 72″ TV, sound system, walk out French double doors, wall mounted DVD storage, and room to spare (eg. piano, or game table in those corner areas). The lower suspended ceiling common throughout the basement was installed for sound abatement and it is remarkably effective.
Recreation Room
Plumbed for a wet bar, sized for exercise and recreation, this room is a perfect adult entertainment area. We imagined a nice wet bar and billiards table to accompany the exercise equipment. The TV ties into the house entertainment wiring further enhancing your exercise regiment.
Half Bath
Just off the Rec-room is a spacious half bath.
